Thanks Again!

The advantages of having two sides of the family are also 2 Thanksgivings! We traveled to Camp Verde on Saturday to spend another Thanksgiving with Joe's family. It was even better this time considering we didn't make the food. It always tastes better when someone else makes it. We were especially thankful that Emmy was finally out of the hospital and she, Kris and Jami were able to be there. The kids all had so much fun playing together with the cousins and with Oma and Opa and their aunts and uncles.

The next day the boys and I meandered around the Verde Valley discovering the sights and taking in FALL! The leaves were turning yellow and orange and we even got to wear jackets. We stopped at Page Springs and the fish farm. Then met my friend Jane and her daughter Maya for lunch at Picazzo's in Sedona for the best pizza and salads ever.

And on Monday, we drove up through Jerome and around Mingus Mountain through Prescott and then up to Williams for the much anticipated Polar Express.

Favorite Kid Quote of the Day:

"We keep getting so stinkin' higher and higher."
Jonah said as we drove up the mountain to Jerome.
