fallin'

it finally started feeling like fall this week.

we said goodbye to smoothies for breakfast and hello, le chocolat chaud! at any time of day.

we're eating soup and wearing hoodies.

we've got the windows open, we're adding homemade quilts to the beds, and bundling up in our warmest duvets.

we even turned on the fireplace for the first time this season. so what if all traces of cold weather were gone by noon, at least we managed to dip below 50 degrees.

and while i'll be holding off on the christmas music until at least after thanksgiving, [can anyone really take that much delilah?] i did check off a couple gifts from my list. i'd like to get them all under wraps by december 1st so that we can concentrate our efforts on the festivities and not shopping. just an ambition.

happy fall, phoenix valley dwellers, let's enjoy it. i'm thinking turkey and cheesy potatoes. oh, and on that note, the turkey trot, too.

Cozy!

Good Luck on the Turkey trot, I wish I could do it this year (sigh).

And, you better believe I am rocking the Christmas music already! Can't get enough. I want to be EXHAUSTED with it by New Year's! Here in Utah, we have THREE radio stations that play continuous Christmas music--Ahh YEah!

Hot chocolate... ahhhh. :) By the way, 94.5 is playing Christmas music this year (already), so if you don't want that much Delilah, (I don't really know anyone who does) try there. I love it. :)
