i took joe out on the town last night for his 34th birthday. we met steve and val in scottsdale, ate thai food, and for the cake ritual-sprinkles cupcakes. Their milk chocolate flavor was the first chocolate dessert joe ever met that was almost too chocolaty sweet. however, it was nothing in comparison to the sugar that went into the cake from me and the boys today. all the love of two little boys wrapped up in chocolate frosting-it doesn't get any sweeter than that. those boys were so eager to make daddy his birthday cake and surprise him with it. they couldn't think of anything else he would like better on his birthday and frankly, neither could i.
