this is how me and the boys do fireworks in the QC-across the street from our air-conditioned car. c'mon, we're melting over here at 100+ degrees at 9 o'clock at night! [not to mention those mosquitos eating us alive.] despite joe's usual warning about every 5 minutes that this is definitely the finale, we never even made it to the end. 9:30 is pretty late for us, especially after a full day of swimming and watermelon with the family.

at least your fireworks were live and in person. we were too exhausted and opted for fireworks in d.c. - on pbs. fewer mosquitos and earlier bedtimes.
