Halloweenie

If you know of our love for Halloween, you'd be very disappointed in our efforts this year. They kind of coincide with the "high-quality" cell phone pictures which were all we could muster. We barely pulled some decor together the week prior along with very simple costumes:

Jonah's entomologist costume was perfectly fitting for his current obsession with bugs, especially since a praying mantis ensemble is not within my skill set. He came up with the idea himself and pulled it together with what he could find around the house. He was happy, I was off the hook.

Our little lady played along which also turned out pretty darn cute. That padded booty just bounced up and down the streets as quick as her striped legs would take her. Her overzealous brothers knocked her over more than once, resulting in a fat, bloody lip, but that did not deter her. She'd wait patiently at the door then slam it open and help herself inside before you could say, "Trick-or-Treat."

Isaak couldn't quite decide which costume to choose and donned 3 different costumes before we reached November 1st. Lucky for him he has access to years of brothers and cousins past costumes. Along with his new aversion to public displays of affection, he's also decided he no longer smiles for pictures in front of his friends. He still smiles and kisses me at home, but don't tell anybody. He's got a kindergarten sized rep. to protect.

I love Eden's costume - especially her tights - and they're all cute! Did Jonah have a "too cool" stage too?

Thanks Amanda. And no, Jonah still has no qualms about kissing and smiling for his Mama.
