It was one of those days when I really needed to take a long soak in the tub. For my aching back and mind and sanity. Earlier I was getting the boys ready to go to the park so they could leave the cave they've been cooped up in all week and Jonah wasn't exactly cooperating. So I threaten to leave him and storm out the door, as if I might just go and play on the monkey bars myself. Then Joe steps in to help Jonah get his shoes on and thus my Favorite Kid Quote of the Day:
"Daddy, will you calm her so she doesn't leave me?"
"Daddy, will you calm her so she doesn't leave me?"
Now I have had my tub, hot water, and cool outside air to calm me. And I feel much better.

Faith,I love the picture with you and the boys. I have to say, you were made for blogging.I on the other hand just try my best. I was going to put the picture of us all at the cabin up, but I just didn't feel like it did everyone justice. We are all much cuter. Note to self, take picture when everyone is a little more fresh. Hahaha! Okay, how many times have I used the same "threat"? (I feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one dishing out empty threats to my kids ;)
i love all the kid quotes of the day - i always imagine jonah's cute little boy voice saying them. i think that so far, this is my fave.
