Last night was the Bast Family Christmas party at Uncle Steve and Aunt Valerie's house. The boys are always happy to see the Bast family, especially their cousins. Steve & Val cooked a delicious Chicken Parmesan dinner and then we all took a "Charlie" (Jonah's pronunciation for trolley) ride around to see the Christmas lights. Ikey exhibited his good-training by offering a heart-felt "woOOooh" every time we saw a house with lotsa lights and Jonah tried his best to keep up with the other kids singing Christmas carols.
In the morning we had a breakfast that seemed to fit into Buddy the Elf's 4 basic food groups: 'candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup'. Just what any sugar baby loves to wake up to. We didn't have much trouble getting the boys to finish their breakfast this time. It was just "so tasty", as Jonah likes to say. Then we moved onto the excitement of the gift exchange and a mini dance party with Aunt Jami. Me and the boys always love spending holidays with the Bast family. It's always such a loving and fun-filled atmosphere.
