The boys spent the day with Bapa so Mommy and Daddy could do some secret consulting with Santa. I thought they'd just hang out at the house, watch a movie, and ingest large amounts of sugar like they're supposed to do at Bapa and Grandma Karen's house. But then my Dad got all courageous and took them on an outing to the Bass Pro Shop. The kids saw giant cat fish, a "big black bear", Santa, ate lunch, and had a ball! Thanks Bapa for the good times and the kid-free, last-minute shopping.
