This weekend I left the boys to themselves and got to go visit my very "old" friend Lara in Gig Harbor, Washington (just outside of Seattle) for her 30th birthday! She took me on a tour of the harbor, out to eat Sushi, and even more rare for me, she gave me a comfortable bed with non-interrupted, sleep-filled nights. No matter how old we get and how many kids we're responsible for, anytime I spend with Lara it's like we're still 12 years old looking at fashion magazines, eating brownies, and gossiping about our friends. It was a truly enjoyable, relaxing weekend spending time with her and her beautiful family and seeing what her life is like since she moved to Washington.
