It was a busy Christmas Eve for me and the boys putting the finishing touches on our holiday plans. Jonah was especially concerned this evening about our [gas-burning] fireplace not having a proper chimney. Aunt Mara and her boys came over to make cookies for Santa and for the annual opening of Christmas pajamas. The boys were more than exhausted by the time we shoved them into their pj's and tucked them in tight. Joe was super excited that Jonah's final request from Santa at bedtime was for a vacuum since he's spent every spare minute this week laboring over a backyard playset.
