this is our niece, emmy, cutting her incredibly creative sweet potato and oatmeal cake. we were able to come up to camp verde for her big 2nd birthday bash. she's had a rough year, health wise, but she couldn't have been a happier 2 year old, running and dancing with her cousins and friends. emmy and isaak are only two days apart and have finally reached the age where they enjoy playing with each other.
aunt jami pulled out all the stops with easter egg coloring, games, dancing, and a tractor ride down to the river to play in the dirt. every kids' favorite thing to do.

Faith - I LOVE these photos from Emmy's birthday. Especially the one with the bottom of the pink dress and feet on top of the sand castle. Brilliant.
