my dear husband and dear friend, lara, conspired and got these jeans for me to wear on my 30th birthday [july 17]. the catch. i am nowhere near fitting into them at the moment. so, they are to be my motivation. oh and the bonus is, joe says he will let me cut his hair however i want if i can do it. [this being an enormous motivation in itself.]

btw-for those of you who are questioning my husband and friend's loyalty to love me just the way i am, this wasn't their idea initially. i made a new year's resolution to do just this which thus far has been a complete and utter failure. joe decided to get me the jeans early as a visual reminder of my goal. it's good. it made me happy to come home yesterday and find a surprise for me from my boys. joe even journeyed all the way to 'the rack' [twice] to find the perfect pair with both boys in tow and has already had them altered for my less than average height. i have them hanging in my hallway to sneer and jeer at me every time i walk by on my way to the kitchen.

wow! what motivation. Joe is going to let you cut his hair anyway you want? Brave boy. Good Luck...You can do it.
i vote for the mohawk. better yet, let's cut it short and leave a tail!
good luck on reaching your goal!
Come on, Faith, let's hear it: G-o-o-d L-u-c-k, Good luck! I am in the same boat, but no hot jeans await the finish line, just old small ones!
You can do it!
Okay, the music and pants together sound super-empowering! I can see the hair falling now ;)
Come on Faith, YOU can do it, I know. Just hit the veggies and and whole grains and it just melts off. Have the sweet "goodies" in small amounts, maybe a couple of times a week, and just watch the scale go down, I mean, Faith will fit in those jeans in no time and Joe will have a brand new hair do. What a a splendid Before and After photo that would make, don't you think? 1---- 2---- 3 GO!
