this insolent little lizard did give joe and i a run for our money, tearing the couches apart trying to catch him, but i think you can see who conquered in the end. poor thing couldn't even keep his tail on*. regardless of our many warnings to be gentle, the boys enjoyed torturing him for a few rounds before setting him free. now that's 2 tails for the boys and a big fat nothing for the lizards. now who's so smug?

* i was under the impression that you had to pull a lizard's tail off, but apparently they can just let go of it at will then just grow it back within a few weeks. impressive, we'll give 'em that.
