this year the bast family christmas was at kris and jami's house. aunt jami had all kinds of christmas activities planned, beginning with a treasure hunt for the kids and the camp verde version of a winter sleigh ride. and that was just for starters. the kids played until they literally dropped like flies and the siblings stayed up late watching nicolas cage in a bad rendition of a christmas carol. just to catch a few hours of sleep and start all over again in the morning.
