turns out those boys aren't as naughty as we all thought. according to sankt nikolaus they were good enough to receive a candy cane, a bag of chocolate coins, and some small toys-accompanied by a small branch as a warning. he even took their ratty old "stiefels" and replaced them with new ones! that's a little above and beyond, if you ask me. he must be *grading on a curve.

jonah had all kinds of questions about sankt nikolaus this year. what does he look like? what does he wear? is he friends with santa? isaak was just happy to have chocolate for breakfast.
