jonah's hit the big 5 which means it's time. time for the upgrade from trike to big boy bike. in honor of this event, we themed his party a birthday bike rally.

i didn't get a lot of pictures as i was pretty busy. the kids first adorned their bikes with some bike bling and then we all cruised the 'hood on our vehicle of choice-mainly bikes, trikes, and scooters. it was kind of the spectacle with 14 kids, 9 adults, a cupcake-filled wagon, a minivan, and a partridge in a pear tree. we ended up at the park for some pizza and cupcakes. it was a blustery day, but jonah managed to make his wish. thanks to all the family and friends who came out!

looks like a great party! the boys had fun. i think it's great you can manage a great birthday party during the holidays. my poor kids would get the shaft if they had december bdays. that must be why i have mine in the summer. :)
