isaak has been coming up with some pretty good one-liners lately. i don't know where this one came from, but it put a big smile on my face and is going down in my library of clever things those boys say.i already miss jonah's innocent way of naming the world around him. since he's learned the adult names of things, he doesn't give them indian names as often as he did previously. he now knows that they're called "rollerblades" and not "walking on wheels" and that he doesn't like "chili" not "magic bean soup." one long, descriptive name still remains; "sirius the catahoula dog."
if joe and i were a little more native, maybe we would've given the boys names like "magic on the inside" or "spitting image of his father." i don't know, i still think "isaak"-which is Hebrew for laughter, and "jonah"-Hebrew for dove, are a little more pithy.

rachel- too risque? i decided to switch it for one that was a little more fitting anyway.
