i can't believe how quickly jonah learned to ride his bike, minus a couple of training wheels! he didn't think he wanted to try, but joe took them off and we headed for the retention base down the street to provide a little padding. he didn't need it, not one bit. the grass was just slowing him down! i was afraid to let him try it on the street, you know, from recent experience. so, when i left that afternoon i guess i gave up my rights as boss. [that's right, joe. me.] when i came home, jonah was just cruising up and down the street, free as a bird. so proud. you're awesome, petey.

Love this post...isn't it crazy how they can just take off like that? All we had to tell Hope was that her sister was riding without training wheels already when she turned 5...and she was off. Ah, sisterly competition.
