for me and the boys, birthdays just aren't long enough, so we like to stretch them out for a minimum of three days. since it was my turn, i chose not to tote my camera around which results in pirated pictures...
1 on friday [my actual day] the husband took me to the mesa arts center since it was so kind of jewel to host a concert for my birthday. 2 but not before testing my gag reflexes with a tuna roll or two at the kona grill. 3 the night before, dad and his girls celebrated mine and karen's birthdays at the cheesecake factory. 4 then we headed off to gammage to see what all the fuss was about. 5 [L-R] yours truly, karen, mara, paige, rachel & sara 6 the next day the high school gang got together to celebrate at tia rosa's, of course, where we ate, talked and sweat for 4 hours. 7 and last but not least, nana and mom took me out for lunch at my favorite salad bar, sweet tomatoes. my pregnancy finicky-ness loves/needs variety.
thanks everybody for helping me celebrate. it was an exciting and eventful weekend that resulted in exhaustion. is there a better way?

I think I'm going to show Seth your post in preparations for my birthday. It sounds like an awesome weekend.
Happy Bday! You guys know how to celebrate! And, it's really crazy, but it doesn't feel like that long ago that I was the one with "widget envy". It'll be over before you know it & you'll be like me going, "Wait! I'm not ready yet!" ;)
