when me and the boys make the long trek all the way down ironwood from queen creek to mesa several times a week, i like to quiz jonah on the names of the mountains. he's pretty good at remembering the superstition mountains and four peaks. so today as we were pulling out of the target parking lot, we were shocked to see snow on these mountain tops. we've seen it before, on rare occassions, but at that moment the sun was shining on them just beneath the clouds and they were so clear and bright. jonah and i were admiring the snowy peaks and just to the right of the range, a big rainbow. then we pull up to a stop light on the corner of power & something and as if on cue, a coyote comes running up this wash. mother nature's kodak moment, and of course, i didn't have my camera. so i call up my sister, rachel, and like a true paparazzo she grabs her camera, hops in her car and chases down the shot (minus the coyote). well done, rach.2.04.2008
we *heart* snow on the superstitions

so happy to be of service to you and mother nature
I can see that you and your boys have a "heck" of a good time.
That's awsome, Faith - I saw the picture you ordered too, and it's SO amazing! :) Great team work!! ... Hey - I'm not the only one teaching mountain names in car rides! :) Awsome.
