my two year old loves to talk on the phone. every time it rings he yells, "i wanna talk to him!" regardless of who is calling. usually this is a nuisance when i'm trying to have a conversation with someone and he keeps screeching and pulling on the cord, but since the resurrection of our house phone* this is becoming very useful. we don't have caller i.d. so when i answer and that same guy from the east valley tribune is still trying to get me to subscribe, i just ask him politely to hold on a minute and say, "isaak, it's for you."*we are often left without a phone. there's most likely a landfill somewhere collecting our cordless phones [we've lost at least 3 this year] compliments of ikey. and since precious recently chewed up my cell phone charger, that's usually dead as well. so, i finally had to dig up the old corded phone from the closet in hopes that its attatchment to the wall will help it stay put for a while at least.
no phone - cake

HAHA I love it you give the telemarketer a taste of his own medicine! Except Ike is MUCH cuter and more entertaining to talk to!
Lol! I'll have to try that little trick :) I have 3 very willing mouths myself ;)
ps. I love your phone!!
i've experience ikey's 'conversations' first hand! awesome.
Same story over here. Will loves himself a good phone conversation. Except the phone itself is too long for proper hearing/talking so he spends most of his conversations schreeching "tan't her you... tan't her you...". Weirdo.
