if you can't beat 'em...

this is all me and the boys have seen of daddy for the past week.

[no, don't worry. that look is full of love and adoration. right, honey? right?]

so, the boys decided that if they wanted something more than a couple of stinky feet it was time to crash the party.

they even got it all buttoned up AND working! it really runs! that's not to say that i thought it wouldn't. i mean, i have faith in my man. even if there have been some previous episodes where delving into the world of mechanics just meant a lot of dirty work and dirty words. i usually, at some point, ask him if we can't just pay somebody else to cuss at our car. not this time, though. he just read the manual and figured it all out and it worked. not hardly a curse word to be heard. this was no small job, either, and it saved us hundreds, maybe thousands -and we didn't even have to make the switch to Geico®.
